Natalie Faella, MS, RD

Natalie grew up in Rhode Island and credits her life-long appreciation of food to her close-knit, Italian and French family. Her mother’s positive messages about food such as “blueberries are brain food,” and “food gives you energy” helped her recognize the importance of nutrition early on.

Natalie's passion for healthy living and helping others led her to the University of Connecticut to complete a BS in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Natalie went on to receive an MS in Nutritional Science from Tufts University. She concurrently completed a 15-month Dietetic Internship where she worked at multiple medical and community sites throughout the Greater Boston area. While at Tufts, Natalie focused her studies on eating disorders and compiled a textbook chapter on the implications of medical nutrition therapy in eating disorder treatment. After graduating from Tufts, Natalie worked as a clinical dietitian at Good Samaritan Medical Center and New England Sinai Hospital prior to starting her current position at Walden Behavioral Care where she works exclusively with adolescents and adults with eating disorders.

Natalie is a firm believer that all foods fit and eating doesn’t need to be complicated. Combining her clinical experience and holistic approach to nutrition and wellness, Natalie helps clients sift through cultural and media messages around food so they can create their own definition of health, one that includes sustainable and enjoyable eating and lifestyle practices.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys doing yoga, coming up with new recipes, reading, and exploring new cities.
