Intuitive Eating Groups Starting Soon!

We have several Intuitive Eating Groups starting the week of April 22nd.  Diets and prescriptive meal plans provide external guidance, leading to mistrust of the body. IE shifts the paradigm, transitioning responsibility for eating back to the body (where it belongs), providing a sustainable model to use throughout life.

Introduction to Intuitive Eating - Framingham

Facilitators:  Jennifer Drohan, M.Ed, RDN and Kate Giles, MS, RDN

In this 8-week group that meets Mondays 7-8:30pm, participants explore an empowering, revolutionary model of eating while moving away from diets. Based on the book, Intuitive Eating (IE) by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, group members will discuss each of the IE principles while implementing them into their life. The group is appropriate for anyone ready to get off the dieting circuit and spend less time thinking about weight and food. Those struggling with compulsive overeating or binge eating or who are solidly into recovery from an eating disorder are welcome.

Advanced Intuitive Eating Group - Newton

Facilitators:  Jill Merrigan, MS, RDN and Nikki Vance, RDN

In this 8-week group that meets Mondays 7-8:30pm, participants dive deeper into Intuitive Eating principles. Completion of introductory Intuitive Eating group or equivalent experience required. Group members will discuss ongoing challenges and successes as they practice incorporating IE principles into their lives.  There is an option to continue the group on an ongoing basis after the initial 8 weeks.

Virtual Intuitive Eating Group - Your Home

Facilitator: Jamie Dannenburg, MS, RDN

Similar to the Introduction to Intuitive Eating, this 8-week group meets virtually one evening a week (day TBD depending on what works best for all).  Participants explore this model of eating while moving away from diets. Based on the book, Intuitive Eating (IE) by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, group members will discuss each of the IE principles while implementing them into their life. The group is appropriate any adults ready to get off the dieting circuit and spend less time thinking about weight and food. Those struggling with compulsive overeating or binge eating or who are solidly into recovery from an eating disorder are welcome.
